EXAMINATION FEES
Following Government pronouncement of free education in Public and Grant Aided schools, the following is the guidance with regard to payment of examination fees;
The following shall not pay examination fees:
- Candidates in Public Schools;
- Candidates in Grant Aided schools.
Candidates in private schools shall pay the following amounts as examination fees:

School Certificate (G12) Examination | 600 |
Candidates for the Grade 9 External and General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examination are required to pay the following examination fees:

Payment Methods
Please note that where applicable, candidates shall make payments for the 2024 examinations using the following channels:
- Payment Gateway (systems.exams-council.org.zm) – Airtel Mobile Money, MTN Mobile Money, Zamtel Kwacha and VISA
- ZANACO Branches (through Bill Muster). Institutional ID for depositing examinations fees is 6184 – ECZ Exam Fees.
- ATLASMARA (Airtel Mobile Money, MTN Mobile Money, and School pay Website)
NOTES
- There shall be NO DIRECT DEPOSITS into any of the ECZ Bank Accounts to avoid candidates not migrating to the paid register.
- There shall be NO CASH PAYMENTS to the examination centres.
Please note that payment of examination fees in any other ways not stipulated in the Guidelines or as above will causes the registration process to remain incomplete. The ECZ shall not entertain any wrongly deposited fees.
